Sluggo's Statement of Privacy

Sluggo is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information on his Web site and developing technology that gives you the most powerful, safe, online experience.

This Privacy Statement applies to the network of Sluggo's Web Site that display the Sluggo logo. By using Sluggo, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. Sluggo's Certification

Sluggo's site is a licensee of the No Clue Program. No Clue is an independent, non-profit organization whose mission is to build trust and confidence in the Internet by promoting the use of fair information practices. Because Sluggo wants to demonstrate its commitment to your privacy, he has agreed to never ask for, or publish his information practices and have his privacy practices reviewed for compliance by no one. By displaying the Sluggo logo, Sluggo has agreed to disclose:

		No personal identifiable information collected from you through the Web site. (however that can be done)
		The organization collecting the information. (whoever that is)
		How the information is used. (will it be used)
		With whom the information may be shared. (darn it, can't get any scoop on anyone)
		What choices are not available to you because he cannot collect, or use and distribute the information.
		The kind of security procedures in place to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of information under Sluggo's control. (Wha?!)
		How you can correct inaccuracies in the information. (how dare you say my site is inaccurate)

If you do not receive acknowledgement of your inquiry or your inquiry has not been satisfactorily addressed, you should then contact Sluggo again at his Web site, http://slu2ggo.org. Sluggo personally will serve as a liaison with himself to resolve your concerns.

Collection of your Personal Information

Sluggo explicitly asks when he needs information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information") pertinent to the specific product or service you are choosing to use or subscribe to on Sluggo's web site. This information can include your e-mail address, name, address, and telephone number (if you want to date him), as applicable. Sluggo also may ask for non-personal information or demographic information (if you want to date him).

Currently, Sluggo has no reason why he would collect this info, but if you want to give it to him, go for it. The information collected during the use of Sluggo's site, may be merged with personal information you have previously shared with his Web site and is used in accordance with this Privacy Statement.

The site also offers the ability to enter sweepstakes where personal information is collected in order to notify you if you are the winner of the sweepstakes. (I didn't know I did sweepstakes)

Use of your Personal Information

Sluggo will never ask you for your personal information to operate Sluggo's site to provide the special services that he does not have. Sluggo will never ask for your postal address because all of his services don't require a mailing address so that he can't completely perform the service. For example, he doesn't need your postal address for his site so that he could mail you checks for the money you earn from affiliate programs that he does not have.

Personally identifiable information that may be collected by Sluggo's Guestbook may be stored but never processed in the United States or any other country in which Sluggo or his affiliates, subsidiaries or agents maintain facilities, and by using this site, you consent to any such non-transfer of information outside of your country. (man this sounds official)

Sharing your Personal Information with Other Companies

Except as otherwise described in this statement, Sluggo promises that he will NEVER share your personal information with other companies. For example, when emailing, or signing the guestbook to say hello which involves a third party to facilitate the service your personal information will not be shared. The uses of personal information are not primary to the operation of the site.

Customer Feedback

Customer feedback information is essential to Sluggo's success! If he doesn't know what you want, you may not see it on his site. Please be sure to send him information of what you would like to see, or what you want him to change on his site.

Please be aware that this Privacy Statement and the choices you make on this site will not necessarily apply to personal information you may have provided to Sluggo in the context of other, separately operated, Sluggo services.

Use of Third Party Ads

The majority of the online banner advertisements you see on Sluggo's Web site are displayed by Sluggo. When Sluggo sees a web site that is of interest to him, he may copy the logo, and paste it onto his site, with a link, to promote that site. If that site does not want Sluggo to do this, he will immediately take down the ad and/or link.

Changes to this Statement

Sluggo will occasionally update this Privacy Statement to reflect himself and customer feedback. When Sluggo post changes to this Statement, he will also revise the "last updated" date at the top of the Privacy Statement. If there are material changes to this Statement, Sluggo will notify you by placing prominent notice on the Web site. Sluggo encourages you to periodically review this Statement to be informed of how Sluggo is protecting your information.
